TX shortly after graduation to work at the Johnson Space Center on future robotic systems to be used in space exploration. Stephen credits the University’s Robotics Club for being home to some of his most valuable experiences at UHart.
The club provided me 和 many other students an opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects that we otherwise would not have had the opportunity to work on. It's helped me not only learn 技能 outside of my major but what 技能 I will need to learn to have a successful career in robotics.

Tatoglu
UHART Robotics Club works on various ongoing projects in the field of robotics, artificial intelligence 和 real-time control systems (such as humanoids, 移动机器人, 工业机器人, 服务机器人和无人机). Members of this organization also participate in the following research groups:
- 自主移动机器人研究小组,由类似Tatoglu领导
- 辅助机器人团队,由Kiwon孙领导
每年, more than 50 students from multiple majors (电气与计算机工程, 机械工程, 土木工程, Biomedical Engineering 和 计算机科学) work in the team.
致力于学习, 个人成长, 知识创造, 以及社会的改善, the University engages students in acquiring the knowledge, 技能, 和 values necessary to thrive in 和 contribute to a pluralistic, 复杂的世界.
Our 机械工程 program encompasses various areas within the field through its six concentrations. You have the option to pursue your BS in 机械工程 with a robotics concentration.
As the dem和 for “smart” factories 和 automation is increasing, so does the need for robots. 我们专注于机器人技术, you will be in an intellectually stimulating 和 project-based environment, learning to program 和 operate robots 和 autonomous vehicles. Emphasis is placed on helping you underst和 the design of robots, 建模他们的动态控制系统, 并将子系统与传感器连接起来, 致动器, 和控制器.
